Each week you will get a selection of staple items that are available all year round such as potatoes, broccoli, oranges and carrots. 

The rest of the box is a selection of fruit and vegetables that are in-season

and the best value for that week.

Occasionally we include something unusual for you to try and information on how to cook it.

 There are usually 8 – 10 fruits and 8 – 10 vegetables.

$30 mixed singles/ couples box

With the same variety as the $55 box but smaller quantities.  An ideal amount for one or two people to use each week.

 

$30 ‘local farm’ vegetable box

Local, fresh and certified organic—the ultimate way to eat (other than growing your own!)

Each week a box of the freshest vegetables will be selected from the crops ready to harvest at Fernleigh Farm and Captains Creek.  A mixture of salad vegetables and some for cooking  - of course what is in the box will be dependant on what is seasonal locally and all the factors that effect growth such as the weather  -  a truly healthy and satisfying way to eat.  These boxes are only available when local produce is in season - usually between January and May/June.

 

$30 fruit boxes

Fill the fruit bowl or indulge in the seasonal specialties—two choices of your fruit for the week. 

The Fruit Bowl Box will provide as many pieces of fruit as possible from a variety of four or more.  (eg. standard fruits when in season, such as apples, oranges, bananas and the best value   fruit for the week, which may be mandarins, watermelon, plums or what ever is in abundance at the time of the year.)

Specialty Fruit boxes will have a greater variety but possibly less pieces of fruit.  The standards will be included and a  range of other fruits in season, for example at the moment the box could include mango, nectarines, plums, cherries and berries.

 

$15 Juicing Box

3 kilos of juicing apples, 2 kilo of juicing carrots, half a celery, beetroot and a piece of ginger (or substitutes if an item is not available). Or talk to us about what you like to juice. (Due to the viability of delviering these boxes they may not be available as a stand alone order in some instances).

 

 

Mix and match also available for $55 boxes eg.  You may like to have the Fruit Bowl Box for your fruit and the standard vegetables for the other half of the box.
